How to fit a wig cap

You might decide to wear a wig cap for a few reasons: 1) to hold your hair in place under the wig; 2) to reduce transfer of oils from your hair to the wig 3) to protect your hair from rubbing against the wig or 4) to create the illusion of scalp under a full lace wig. If you choose to wear a wig cap for the fourth reason, then try to match the wig cap to your skin colour. Just follow these 4 easy steps to get a smooth base for wearing your wig.

Step 1: Tie/Plait/Pin your hair as flat as possible.

Step 2: Stretch out your wig cap using both hands.

Step 3: Place the wig cap over your head front to back starting just above your eyebrows.

Step 4. Once the wig cap is on slide upwards towards the hairline.

Step 5. Position just behind/in front of hairline depending on the look that you would like to achieve.
